(BetterNOI, LLC has an opening in Miramar, FL) Senior Software & Data Integration Engineer: Help design and implement functional requirements. Participate in architectural, design and product sessions. Develop innovative solutions based on product initiatives and business challenges in both Python and JavaScript. Work with new technologies to apply them on the projects. Design and create efficient RESTful endpoints for both internal and public consumption. Own and manage multiple data sources (MySQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, Solr, Elasticsearch). Use Sentry and other monitoring software regularly. Meet with the Tech Team to discuss the design process and to discuss and improve the project usability. Help the Tech Team to find any bottlenecks or conflicts within the design process. Plan and lay out the whole project backend for smooth data gathering and transmission. Design the front end of the website to meet project requirements. Meet with testers to explain the process and flow of the Software. Gather feedback from the testers for potential bug fixes. Write code that supplies data feeds to all the platforms including server, desktop and mobile. Help in automating tasks and streamlining to enhance current and future business processes. Report to the CTO about any new conditions that may affect platform's performance and propose a decent solution. Work closely with the CTO in order to make sure BetterNOI’s objectives are on tract and efficient. Will supervise 2 employees (technical oversight only of 2 Junior Software Engineers - subordinates). Requires Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related and 2 years experience. 2 years must include experience with Hadoop, Hive, Java, Spark, SQL, Python, and JavaScript. Requires
